Located in San Francisco’s Mission District, 826 Valencia offers a variety of free programs and services throughout the school year and summer months including drop-in tutoring, field trips, specialized workshops, in-school assistance, and extensive student publishing.
St. John’s Educational Threshold Center
St. John’s High School Programs develop youth leadership and facilitate college access through peer education, experiential education, and college-readiness programs. These programs incorporate a leadership philosophy that encourages youth to exercise their power of choice in making positive personal decisions.
Crissy Field Center
The Crissy Fields Center offers a wide variety of programs and amenities that connect the diverse population of the Bay Area to urban environmental issues. Check out their Annual EcoCareer Day in February.
Girl Venutres
Girl Ventures offers bay area girls the opportunity to explore self, community, culture and environment through outdoor adventure, creative arts and group experiences. Girl Ventures is now accepting applications for their summer 2008 programming including the Self-Defense Series for Girls. The application deadline is June 13, 2008. TUITION ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE!
