We are proud to announce the launch of the Aim High Young Leaders Board. Created with the goal of expanding Aim High’s reach, the Young Leaders Board is an exciting new journey for our organization. The Young Leaders Board is comprised of 25 enthusiastic professionals representing the nonprofit, education, business, and technology communities across the Bay Area. They are committed to helping raise Aim High’s brand and visibility, developing a more diverse base of funders, creating a pipeline of strong leaders for Aim High’s Board of Trustees, and narrowing the opportunity and achievement gaps in Northern California.

Aim High Community and Events Manager (and Aim High grad!) Mariah Napoles led the charge in developing the board and setting expectations. “I’m excited to bring young people from various backgrounds and industries, who are dedicated to closing the achievement and opportunity gaps, together around the same table,” says Mariah. “These young leaders have ambitious goals that align well with Aim High’s strategic plan and vision.” Mariah noted a common theme that emerged from this process: young people looking to make a difference in their communities. With their broad range of expertise, the Young Leaders will help Aim High cast a wider net and have an even bigger impact throughout the Bay Area.
