Site Director

Site Directors (SDs) oversee all aspects of an Aim High summer school campus to ensure high-quality implementation of the six-week, academic enrichment and youth development program, ensuring that the Aim High Core Values are brought to life for students and staff alike. SDs also have responsibilities during the academic year, typically working 5-10 hours a month (Aug-May). SDs, with the help of the Central Office, are responsible for hiring, training and overseeing faculty, typically between 15 to 30 staff members, along with some student recruitment responsibilities and admissions decisions. Most  Aim High sites have two Co-Directors, and therefore must work together as an effective leadership team. Site Directors report directly to their assigned Program Director or Program Manager.

Admissions Assistant – Recruitment

The Admissions Assistant – Recruitment position is a part-time temporary position that focuses primarily on presenting the Aim High program to prospective new students/families throughout the admissions season. The Admissions Assistant will be an integral part of a successful admissions season. This is a four month position (February – June) for 15/20 hours per week. Candidates who have attended Aim High as a student or taught in the program as well as candidates who identify as LBGTQ, Black, Indigenous, and/or people of color are strongly encouraged to apply.

Program Manager – South Bay

The South Bay Program Manager position is a dynamic role responsible for leading program implementation of the Aim High summer program in our South Bay location, with guidance from the Regional Program Manager. This is a part-time temporary position beginning with approximately 10 hours per week of work in February, growing to 20 hours per week in May-August. Successful candidates will possess a strong commitment to Aim High’s mission and values and embody a high degree of cultural competency.

Academic Coach Work with site directors, program directors, and the Aim High teaching and learning team to ensure the training and coaching needs of Aim High teachers are met throughout the summer program. This position is open to individuals who are seasoned educators.

Assistant Teacher Co-teach Aim High’s core academic classes and lead enrichment classes and/or afternoon activities. This position is open to college students or individuals interested in pursuing the field of education.

Campus Coordinator Serve as a site-level administrative team member and manage site logistics and organization.

High School Intern Assist lead teachers in teaching a core academic class and support assistant teachers with afternoon activities.

High School Volunteer Volunteers support general office duties and supervision as well as assisting in afternoon activities.

Lead Teacher Teach Aim High’s core academic classes (Interdisciplinary Challenge, Issues + Choices, Math). This position is open to current educators or individuals with teaching experience.

Site Director Oversee all aspects of an Aim High summer school campus to ensure high-quality implementation of the six-week, academic enrichment and youth development program.

Student Support Specialist  Create behavior support plans for students in need, help students & families access community resources and implement restorative practices on site. This position is open to individuals with experience in social work, school health, counseling or other related fields.
