These students, along with the rest of Aim High, are participating in our Summer Reading Challenge. So far, our students have read 140,362 minutes! We’re well on our way to our overall goal of reading 270,000 minutes this summer.
Aim High teachers are serious about reading. One site’s first field trip of the summer was to multiple public library branches around the city. Students toured the facilities, applied for library cards, and checked out books. After visiting the Excelsior Branch, the librarian quickly emailed the Site Directors, praising our students:
