Just in time for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London…
Presenting the 2012 CORE Olympics at Aim High!
We are looking for Aim High students and teachers who can demonstrate Aim High’s CORE Values in action. To compete in our 2012 CORE Olympics:
1. Form a team of no more than 10 members
2. Create a multimedia presentation or project that exemplifies one of Aim High’s CORE Values: Community, Opportunity, Respect, and High Expectations.
3. Examples of team submissions could include skits, songs, art projects, Powerpoint presentations, photo projects, and videos.
The Winning CORE Olympics Team will receive a pizza party at their site, and their project/presentation will be featured in our E-Newsletter, on the Aim High blog and our Facebook page!
Submission Guidelines:
- To submit your project, create a Word document that includes the names of your team members, and a brief description (200 words or less) of which CORE Value is represented and how your project exemplifies that CORE Value. Please also include the name, phone number, and email address of your team’s main contact person.
- Send project files by email to Marina Javor (mjavor@aimhigh.org). Video files should be given to your site director, who can upload them to our Youtube page. If you need an Aim High staff person to film or photograph your project, contact Marina (415-551-2333) with at least 3 days notice, and we will send someone to your site.
