Students and teachers broke into verse during our Visiting Day at Garfield Community School last week. As part of the afternoon activity Beats and Rhymes, students wrote and composed a rap expressing their love of Aim High and the great things they experience. Their teacher, Ariel Estébez, spends her school  year as a traveling music teacher, so she revels the time she gets to spend on one site with one group of students. “They wrote the lyrics and the beats themselves and they should be really proud of their work!” she said.
