In 2015, the John W. Gardner Center at Stanford University conducted an implementation study of our summer learning program. On April 18, we discussed their findings at Data to Action.
Using Aim High as a case study, Gardner’s Executive Director, Amy Gerstein, led a panel discussing the study’s findings and best practices in professional development, out-of-school time, and summer learning. Gerstein was joined by Gardner research associate Kendra Fehrer, Aim High’s Director of Academics and Program Evaluation, Michelle Capobres, and Aim High Trustee Bill Mellin.
Listen to the discussion below, and take a look at the in-depth slide deck that guided our conversation. If you’re interested in learning more about The Gardner Center’s methodology, read the full 50-page report or the Executive Summary of their findings.
